Recently, we announced to our readers an exciting series of initiatives being launched by the Texas A&M University School of Law (TAMU). Ranked amongst the top 14 IP Law programmes in the US, TAMU’s intellectual property program has exciting new course offerings and initiatives. TAMU has also recently bolstered its already phenomenal faculty by adding top IP talent, including Professors Peter Yu, Srividhya Ragavan, Irene Calboli, specialising in Asian and Indian perspectives, and Professors Glynn Lunny, Megan Carpenter and Saurabh Vishnubhakat to their faculty.
As mentioned in our earlier post, as part of Consilience, 2016, Texas A&M University School of Law is hosting a Gala Dinner on the first day of Consilience, 2016.
TAMU will also be hosting a second Meet and Greet event for interested students on May 26th, 2016, at Hotel Lalith Ashok at 4:00 PM. Faculty from TAMU will be discussing programs at TAMU for lawyers, law students, non-lawyers and non-law students including details regarding its LL.M, M. Jur programs & other programs. This is an excellent opportunity for anyone considering a future in the IP field to learn in detail about the program, scholarships, financial aid and other opportunities that will be available at TAMU.
For anyone interested in pursuing IP as an interest and a passion, this is definitely an opportunity not to be missed! To RSVP for the event, please send an email to tamuindia@law.tamu.edu.
